The Story
The Skateroom has collaborated with Artestar and the Keith Haring Foundation to create this skateboard deck featuring Haring’s drawing of a three-eyed smiling face.
A key figure in New York’s East Village art scene of the 1980s, Haring developed a unique and distinctly personal vocabulary of bold, graphic icons—barking dogs, flying saucers, winged figures, and a crawling “radiant baby”—which he combined with abstract marks and patterns in densely packed compositions.
The deck is intended for decorative purposes, but can be assembled into a functioning skateboard. A wall mount is provided to hang the edition on the wall.
