Jean-Michel Basquiat Zip Pouches

This set of three zip pouches—ideal for carrying toiletries, cosmetics, office and art supplies, and everyday essentials—features three artworks by Jean-Michel Basquiat. The large pouch replicates the 1982 painting Dos Cabezas, a joint portrait of Basquiat and Andy Warhol that the former painted as a gift for the latter after their first meeting. The medium pouch reproduces Basquiat’s cover artwork for Rammellzee and K-Rob’s 1983 rap-battle single “Beat Bop.” The small pouch features details from the 1983 painting Mitchell Crew, which pays homage to traditional symbols of African art in Basquiat’s dynamic gestural style. The pouches are made from water-resistant, recycled-polyester taffeta.
